Sleep disruption
Sleep disruption. The metabolic lever most people underestimate.
One night of poor sleep increases insulin resistance the next day. Chronic sleep disruption elevates inflammatory markers, dysregulates appetite hormones, impairs immune function, and accelerates cognitive decline. Sleep is not a lifestyle tip. It is a metabolic lever.
We assess sleep through clinical history, circadian rhythm patterns, and where available, wearable data that tracks sleep stages, HRV, and respiratory patterns. The framework addresses the circadian architecture: light exposure, meal timing, stimulant use, evening routine design, and the metabolic conditions (sleep apnoea, restless legs, nocturia) that fragment sleep from underneath.
The spectrum does not wait for a diagnosis.
If you recognise yourself in any of these conditions, or in the spaces between them, the Metabolic Questionnaire is a good starting point. It is not a diagnosis. It is a structured way to map your symptoms and history so that the right conversation can follow.
